HP Finance - Help!

I know this is OT, but it does involve the Freelander.

Land Rover finance inform me that we have signed up to a "lease/hp" plan that doesn't allow us to voluntarily terminate after paying 50%. This has left me with a serious problem. I thought voluntary termination was a statutory right :(

Nope not always. I take it that it wasn't a Freedom finance.

Are you financing RRS and did you finance previous RR? If so I would point this out and ask them to rethink their position, otherwise they will lose out on future business.
