I have just timed myself and to change my off road tyres for my on road tyres it has taken me 30 minutes and that includes getting the trolley jack out and getting the road tyres out and putting the grizzleys away.

Not bad I think and that is with no power tools either!

Would have to be less than five minutes per wheel to be on my team.  We have done a three minute change on stages before.

In 30 minutes our team need to be able to fix pretty much anything including changing a front diff.

Most services on hillrallies are 30 minutes or less so you need to get everything fixed and fuelled up within that time!

hobbit:
I can do that no probs (with the compressor and air gun though    )

Otherwise a lot longer and  feeling half dead with a lot of profanities in between

Took me longer to sort the spare out, a stud gave way on the carrier :?

TimM:
The first 30 minutes for me would be:

Making a brew, having a look what was required, going indorrs and reading the haynes book of confusion, making another brew, having anothe look, deciding it's too cold, finding warmer clothes, have another brew, head back out, realise it's too dark, find a lamp, have another brew, have another look, go to the toilet (too many brews), come back, have another look....... decide it's too complicated and put everything away.

Even that usually takes more than 30 minutes

Well I have been putting it off for a few days now and my excuse has been it might snow so I want the off road tyres on the disco just in case and then today I saw it was 3:25 and last time it took 45 mins n deal or no deal was on in 45 mins so I went for it and did it in 30 mins.

There is no team with me. I am it! I couldnt change a diff in so mins. It would take me 30 mins to find all the bolts under the mud!
