The numbers shown on that list aren't actually the membership numbers. It's just the place they appear in the list based on the search order you have chosen. For example, if you just look at the joined date, and look at the start, you will see that I have number 2... except I am actually member #4 ;-)

Just had a look through the profiles, in there we have Freelander owners, Discovery owners, and people who have registered and never posted (who I suspect wouldn't have bought a splat).
