Never mind knocking seven bales out of them off-road, we had to konck seven bales out of our Paddocks guard to get it to fit in the first place!!
Looks good now it's on though and does the same job as those which cost double the price.

If you're going to buy a cheap one and it bends and takes out your steering then there was no point in buying it to start with.
Bev Sooty bought one of the cheap ones and bent it. It took virtualy no effort to knock it back into shape.
My Southdown has a slight bow in it but it's been hit loads of times. The bow isn't so bad because it lessens the cheese grater effect when you're being recovered in reverse and stops it pushing the radiator up and out.
I prefer fit and forget myself.

I have to say when I was at Peterborough show I was looking at various winch bumpers and you do pay for the quality, the scorpion was definately the better made and finished one of the ones I could see on offer.
I liked the rebel guard too, although I didnt see many others on show, but probably because the kids were getting bored at that stage in the weekend :(
(Was on the DOC stand)
scorpio:
Damo I have a Scorpion whinch bumper and rebel steering guard fitted to mine
