HI

My good friend Alex has a G Plate Military 110. He has been offered a EP9 winch.

Wll it fit to his standard bumper. It is a very big bit of metal!!

Pic as below, also explains the reason for the winch requirement :-).

thanks

Duncan

V8MoneyPit:
You would normally expect the winch to drop into the bumper so it bolts to the bottom face. The depth (front to back) would not be great enough on a standard bumper. Winch bumpers tend to taper forwards in the middle to allow for this.

Not sure I explained that very well, but hopefully it makes some sense!

Made perfect sense to me

However I have a stinking cold and am currently administering large quantities of whiskey to make it go away, pretty sure in the morning the cold could be gone but mi' head might regret it

The EP9 winch uses the "industry standard 10" x 4.5" bolt centres so. as V8 MP said, it wont fit on a standard bumper, cheapest option is probably a Bikini jobbie to drop on top of the original bumper.

I've got an EP9 and so have a few mates' ..........  dam fine winch as far as I'm conerned and I can find about a dozen other's who we've dragged out of the mire on several occasions that will agree  :D

the epi9 is a gr8 winch same as the ep9 but holds 25ft more cable, got me out of the sticky stuff quite alot and i like it more than the huskey on the rear, just keeps on going.....wel aslong as the battery dus that is lol

Thanks Skywalker
