Sheddy:
Class man, I found it compulsive viewing

MTyrrell:

--- Quote from: "gtomo2" ---you mean the old guy who program use to start with a film of him walking his horse pulling his narrow boat. He tought me a lot more about britain than all my days in school :D
--- End quote ---

Out Of Town, certainly the early ones started with him driving a horse & cart down a byway.

Apparently it was all done unscripted, certainly shows a bit in the very first episode.
Loads of series new series landies running around in the background of some of the features.

suzota:
saw what you will,
the country side is still,
the only place where i can settle down,
what i'd give once more to live, right out of town.

I loved that programe.

Landyrover:
Yes, as a wee small boy growing up in Peterborough, I remember old Jack on the TV - and The Singing Postman! :D

Cheers,

Nick

LandRoger:
I met Jack on several occasions at Gamekeeper -country fayres, met him
once on the river Avon where he was fly fishing with Oliver Kite, Jack gave me lots of tips on Dog training for Shoots , and i have put them into
practice over the years and have Great Gundogs as a result , I would
listen in awe of the man he knew so much about everything Rural and
and the countryside in general , Great great man, compulsive viewing,
