on my 200 disco  tdi above the pump is a rocker out let with a one inch pipe going to my air box main pipe ,where it joins the pipe it has broken i have taped it on temporary ,it is a bit oilely what does it do as the motor ran ok but i didnt want any dirt in the turbo[/b]

sounds like the engine breather most mechanics split them when they pull them off cos they get brittle and then tape them back together with insulation tape
