Any one know if a 200 1994 V8 has a spider as part of the immobiliser?

They are standard fit.  They're not a terribly long lived part, though, so it may have been replaced at some point.

You can tell the difference between the genuine Landrover part and a pattern part by engaging it in conversation and listening for a West Mids accent.
