Wind Deflector fitting Help
« on: February 17, 2006, 09:39:39 »
well after advice once again. i have brought a set of from window wind deflectors from ebay, just had them delivered, but not sure how to fit.

i thought that they just slotted in, but these have sticky foam on them from the last vehicle they were in.

Any help and advice greatly appreciated as always.

Cheers

Andy,

They do just slot in, although it's easier if you pull the window rubbers back first to get them in.
Take the sticky foam off and get some double sided tape.  When you fit them this will ensure that they don't slip (which they do if not secured).
If you need help let me know.

If they were the set sold by Tendring100 http://www.tlmlmadrovers.co.uk I was the one who removed them ! and they stuck to the door frame, they didnt slide under anything.  Time to get the evostick out or the alraldite !

Yep they are the ones, and fitted now. Removed rubber seal, put them in and replaced rubber seal and bobs your uncle, sorted. thanks Hightower, just as you said.

and as gecko said i may not get so wet now (until water finds another route), bonus
