I had it in the ducelier dizzy in the old 2.25 and was so impressed at not having to do dwell etc that i put it on thelucas thingy on the v8 too. My only advice is take care postioning the amp and make sure you have a good earth point. I've actually extended the earth line down to the chassis/body mounts to make sure after some problems last year.

So how do i know which type of dizzy i have?? i know its a lucas, but dont know which type. its either a LUCAS 25D4/6  or a LUCAS 45D4/6. So whats the difference. Hopefully going to get my kit today.

The points in a 25D dizzy have a little nut to connect the condensor wire to. The 45D condensor has a blade with 2 wires that hooks into the points.

We've been selling the Lumenition kit for Mini's for years and have had lots of positive feedback from customers about it.

Got the kit now, just got to fit it! Going to stonleigh tomorrow to the MG show so hopefully pick some bits up to keep all the wiring tidy!

Sorry to act so dumb but can someone please explain to a simpleton like me what a Lumenition kit is? It sounds like some form of lighting.
