Has anyone done this? Cleaned the old aerial up so that it could be slid in and out nice and easily to prevent damage when going through the undergrowth, when on the last test of my good work I snaped the b****y top off!!!!! Quite annoyed about doing it, had to order a screen mounted one form eblag, still live and learn, if aint broke don’t fix it!

Mine broke ages ago, using the mark 2 aerial replacement has proved very successful. One of the old wire coathangers, and fastening it to the roof rack overhang :wink:  :lol:
