has any one fitted a remote engine start?

I have a remote starting alarm system fitted on my Auto Disco TDi. I bought it on EBay for about £100.00 and it cost about £150.00 to get it fitted - It's the biz it has a pager type remote that feeds back the status of the vehicle. It is an american alarm MANIX is the make. On the legal side the car is still locked and if the door is opened the car shutsdown and is disabled. It comes with a spare remote  and the remote can be programmed to control other cars of the same type of alarm.
