Rangie3.0LtrDan:
OK, i have pretty much ordered my 3 piece clutch, just now need someone to help me fit it, i have no clue, never done one before, but have seen an engine without the clutch and seen how they go on. If anyone wants to help me please let me know availability etc..... i am in the northwest in Barrow-In-Furness.
Any help is appreciated as this is something i dont want to get wrong cos its expenisve to fix!
Cheers
Dan

K9Jim:
dan i would glady give you hand but i don't think i can warrant driving 300 odd miles to do. sorry
Rangie3.0LtrDan:
LOL its ok Jimboy!
Although, i am thinking if its not too much of a job then if camping can be sorted will do some laning the following day, so for example, clutch on the saturday, camp sat nite, lanes laking on the sunday!
Any thoughts guys?
Range Rover Blues:
The worst part for me is always getting the input shaft back into the pilot bearing on reassembly. I've taken the engine out both times I've done the clutch and replaced the sump gasket and rear oil seal at the same time, though it probably involves more work than dropping the 'boxs out I think it's safer.
