V8 Exchange Question

Hi im not to well clued on the later V8's and im just wondering
if the later 4L and above powerplants will fit in place
of the 3.9 or 3.5 units to say a ZF auto box
or is some creative engineering required :?:

Well they are all the same engines anyway so no major problems I can think of

:) Well it does seem to follow they should have the same
mounting flange at the back im just not sure if there were
changes made to suit the later boxes a la p38 n so on
but if theres no diferance then cool as i would like to
up grade to a 4L at some time in the near...

Personally I prefer the 3.9 - especially with webber 500 conversion and a decent exhaust !
