HELP!!! our '90 just died - 2.5 N/A engine

Don't think that's the throttle you've adjusted there Rob. Not sure what it's called but I've played that trick before. Turn it back to where you got it from and you'll find the revs drop back normally. Don't have a piccie just now to describe it to you and the landy's miles away. Look around on top of the pump again and you will see the throttle stop screw.

yeeh I got the new pump from Paddocks in the end. All of the units form A+J were the same in that I couldnt tighten the nut. The one from Paddocks is a 'conversion'.
It would have gone on today if the weather was a bit better. I had ot go and get my new wheels today from near Whitchurch so didnt get back til about 1.30ish. I couldnt be bothered getting wet by that time of day
