What seats fit

I have a Defender 90 tin top and a bad back :cry:
Are there any seats i could buy in pairs or get from a breakers that would simply bolt straight in without too much fuss? Cobra style wrap arounds dont appeal as i'm a lardie pie eater too :cry:

I think the standard suggestion is use Volvo 340 9or is it 240) seats which I fitted to my series and they were really comfortable. Had the wiring for heating too.

I believe some Pug 205 seats fit which I am investigating. Trouble with all these is that you lose access under teh seat though.

Thanks Mike. I had forgotten all about the storage/battery under the passenger side. Might just have to be a comfy moulded foam backrest then. Ta for your input

Personally I'm thinking of fitting the Pug driver's seat and let the passenger suffer they're usually terrified anyway and that's on road. The Volvo seats really are very comfy but as I recall they are a bit higher so I'm hoping the Pugs are lower.

Hey, Ive fitted a pair of Mitsabishe (im a bad speller) FTO seats into my defender90, there easy to fit and easy to remove to acces the batery. The seats are lether and amazingly cumfortable. Found then in a scrap yard near to me and stole them at £50. Good luck. :lol:
