what security for my 90?

good one for a petrol engine have a two way switch very heavy duty one. Switch it one way to start the car switch it the ohter way and when the little **** starts the truck up he gets the coil voltage up this arm and on any other part that is touching metal :lol:  :shock: . you wire the steering wheel to the coil and make sure its not earted so when he grips it and touches ground he make the circuit and yes it dos hurt :lol:

The Audi has a Microscan AN500 installed with Microwave sensor module and a siren that feels like someone is boring through your skull. Its also tied into the central locking and windows but thats of no interest on a 90 (although 30 will get you motors to enable it :) ) This is wired to a relay box under the dash that breaks the positive feed to the coil, signal return from the crankshaft sensor, starter circuit and ecu 'ignition' supply.

This has saved the car from trouble more than a few times and the 'pips' when someone gets too close puts most off. Also scares the crap out of them that get too close when parking, giving them tyhe impression they hit you when they just got real close.

RAC Trackstar Sat-Tracker fitted which seems to be ok, having never used it I cant say how well it works but when it was tested they did find the car quite fast :)

even with best security systems in the world, if they want it, and know what they are doing they`ll get it.

best thing is to think logical:

1. park safley - if you park in the gloom of a netto car park on a council estate for 3 weeks, chances are the scrotes will sniff it out! somewhere well lit, and fairly busy, mines on the side of the main road and while a lot of people get to see it, but it makes it harder for anyone to spend time been dodgy near it without arousing suspicion. its also right below my bedroom window (which has been shut 3 times in 5 years.. due to rain and snow settling on bed!)

2. hide owt worth nicking - mobile phone, cash, even a pack of fags may seem like a suitable reward for scratbag breaking your window, or tearing through your lock, if he cant see owt, less likely to chance it.

3. make it difficult - if theres more than one car in the household use them to create "awkward parking situations" if it takes a theif twice as long to get off and away, its twice the chance of him/her been caught. but dont get too elaborate, if its too difficult, you`ll not bother with it.

4. extras - disclocks are good, so are lock protectors (guards to stiffen the lock area of the door) the more the merrier!

5. rabid rottweiler - if its a grumpy/unfed one its even more efficient, just have a can of winalot handy in the morning!  :lol:

not constuctive but still an idear
install a shotgun behind the dash
toe rag jumps in plays with ignition without disarming .......

BOOOM

ok you have to clean up all the little bits but he wont do it again
