a weird one!

<< < (6/12) > >>

prowler:
Heard it before about someone having chinese writing/names, went to takeaway and the people behind the counter start laughing. I have plenty of tats, even one on the back of my head. DONT do it mate.
I also have a mate called Clint, should have seen the spelling of that when he came out of the tat shop.
Unless you know the true translation of something Dont let someone tat it on your skin.

yer auld aunt nelly:
Plus dan you gotta think how you gonna explain to wyatt why you have a tattoo on your arm with his girlfriends name on   i mean he's a big lad at the moment hate to think how big he will be at eighteen. And how do you spell TILLY WILLY WOOOO in cantonese

Lostboy:
You'll get the constant "Whats is say?", which might be better than me - I get strangers in bars coming up to me and PAWING my arm and wanting to take photos and stuff.

Jake:
There was a report in the paper a while ago where a girl went to China and got Angel in Chinese on her arm.
When she got home she showed it to her mate's.
As you can imagine, they loved it.
A while later, she was in her local Chinese take away.
The person serving noticed the tatoo and laughed.
She enquired what was so funny.
Turns out the tatoo said hoar.
I think the moral of the story when dealing with perminent markings in a language you dont know is to check, check and check again.
 :)

Littledan:
thanks for all the tips guys :D
