The guy uses another furum and his self-promotion is legendary ! If you'd like my opinion on the subject, I don't believe any company would be able to waxoyl the whole vehicle and prevent future corrosion. To a certain degree a 5/6 year old vehicle will already have started to corrode in places and unless you cover every single area 100% there's a chance that something will show through after a few years. Companies like the one you mention do a good job, just don't expect them or anyone else to guarantee you vehicle will never corrode once they have treated it and many warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on unless you are prepared to take it to court.
In a nutshell, it's always worth waxoyling if you want to minimise future corrosion, just don't spend a fortune on it and expect miracles. With great care and attention you can do it yourself or pay someone maybe locally to do it for you at a fraction of the price B&A quote.
The other thing to note is waxoyl applies better when the weather is warm, some of the pros use a solvent to dilute it and then a compressor to apply it, this isn't always possible for the home DIY'er.

If you use it yourself, I've found it best to imerse the tin in a bucket of hot water first. This thins it down a treat!!
Dave:
Do it your self. Is this disco not going offroad as i found that the cleaning of the truck made the waxoil come of after a short time. If you have a compresser it quick and easy you can get a gun for the waxoil and spay away. Must be clean very clean and very dry.
Ps if you don't have a compresser im just down the road from you if you need one.
thumbs:
pair of overall, wolly hat, wire brush, 3 inch paint brush, 5 litre tin of the black stuff - job done!
then a few cans off the spray stuff in your chassis, few oil cans worth of old oil, (dont use gear oil it stinks) let it all run about,
jobs a gooden!
(park it on the road for a few days afterwards)
