dislocation cones
defenderdan:
They won't give you any more droop unless you lower the top shock mounts or fit longer dampers. All the arms actually do is let the arm to chassis bush sit at a more neutral angle. If you do lower the top damper mounts you will have to take a grinder to the trailing arm bracket on your axle or it will bind on extreme articulation. It's a good mod though, i've done it to mine.
Richie_EB4:
I hope that thats my next purchase.........but i want to try the reverse dislocation cones..........let us know how much better they are.
Bulli:
Dan the real purpose of cranked trailing arms/ radius arms is to correct the suspension geometry...most importantly the angle of the diff nose when you have fitted a lift. You are right though without lowering the mount points or fitting longer shocks you wont gain anything.
davidlandy:
Colin,
make sure that you notch out the bracket on the rear axle where the radius arm bolts on otherwise the arm can hit it.
also, if you got them from a certain place make sure that youve asked the questions about which 'batch' they came from, and these are from the 'ok' batch.
they do look good!
