Goty married a the local register office ,never told a sole apart from the two witness, quick meal out of town, overnight stay at the airport hotel, phoned the family the good news that evening ................... :x mother not very happy at all.............[!Expletive Deleted!] off for 2 weeks holiday to let the dust settle ....came back .mother still frosty,but hey we did what we wanted ,after all its your day,no tootthless old aunties to kiss and scroungers coming out the woodwork..........8 years on still married.

Funny you say that...
Ours was in a registry office too with the meal/party in the local Harvester.
Family and a few friends.
We both enjoyed it (which is the main thing) and it did'nt take to much organising or money.
