mud-club-matty:
hello thinkin of get a snorkal  for the big red 90 are they easy to fit on the tdi

Jim-Willy:
Very, just screws on in place of the air intake grille on the wing and screws to the screen.  Mine is from Rebel4x4 who are cheap and good.

You then need to check the under bonnet piping to see if that is water tight before you wade.  Also you need to extend the gear/transfer box and axle breathers before wading and fit your wading plugs.

ok thx will do that tomoz with my dad after school because im off roadin this weekend

I have Just finished prep for deep wading. This involved fitting the snorkal (mantec) Not as easy as some make out  but doo-able. Had to remove the air hoses in the engine bay and the air filter case to make easy access to remove, inspect, water proof as well as sealing the valve at the botton of the hose( silicone sealent). The snork exterior was easier. The only drilling was in the frame of the windscreen (very fiddly) I sheared a bold head right off. Ended up using a rivit gun. The breathers from the transfer and gear box come up in the engin bay are easy to extend. I bout a kit from UK mud Master (eblag) good instructions provided. The axel breathers were very simple to sort. All four go into a four way socket which attaches to a wider tube and then runs up the snorkal. I also fitted a timing case breather which again runs up the snorkal. Carefull where you run the breather (not too near the steering mechanism). Very satisfying doing it yourself. I keep looking out the window to admire it! Get some safety goggles as the amout of mud and dust you disturb underneath will blind you! I learnt the hard way! Hope this helps GOOD LUCK

all done today thx anyway for the help
