Help needed to identify hose!

Thanks, that looks right.  Only problem is the diagram is for a Defender and I have all the bits (air box and pipes) from a Disco and the air box is at the other side of the engine bay.......

May need to make some alterations!

 :D

Porny:
Defender Air take stuff isn't cheap.... just over £200 for all the bits you need, much cheaper (and easier) to find second hand Defender stuff and sell the Disco bits.

Or you could make your own bits....

Is it not possible to make Disco bits fit with some mods?

Porny:
Anythings possible...

Depends how neat you want the conversion to look...

My preference is to make stuf look 'as factory' i.e. to look as standard as possible, rather than a botched attempt (not that I'm saying yours will be!!)

You 'could' use the Disco stuff, but you may find your a bit pushed for space.

You could mount the air box in a similar postion to a Defender Td5 and make pipework to suit, or you may find you've got space at the front of the engine bay - where the air filter assem. is on a 200Tdi Defender

As long as the air is filtered, and you have a tapping for the engine breather (cyclone) then you can't really go wrong, but you do need to avoid using tight bends or small diameter pipe... the last thing you want to do is restrict air flow into the engine.

Thanks very much I will bear all that in mind.  I certainly don't want to bodge it so I will take my time.

I will put some pictures on the site when it is done.
