its the new shiney thing syndrome. Its shiny and new so i must have it. Wether it is of any use is not the point. its a shiny new toy to play with so get it. thats the way i look at things similar to a woman shopping for shoes :lol:

I fitted one to Piglet for the benefit of the passengers :-) I've never looked at it on a sideslope....however - it is *very* amusing when you have a V8 :-)

Foot, throttle, watch the nose of the vehicle on the device point at the sky!

<giggle>

No practical use other than as I say, to scare passengers :-)

There was a rumour that it was re-opening, but sadly nothing seems to have come of it, apparently the quarry is earmarked to be a landfill site; a sad loss of a beautiful off road playground IMO :(sulk):

1) You shouldn't be looking at a guage... you should be looking at where you are going

2) Every vehicle has a different tilt angle, and unless you know what yours is...  the guage is meaningless

3) You need to feel the vehicle...   if you need a guage to tell you if you are about to roll it, then you've already gone too far.
