LANDYTIM:
are people really that desperate to steal land rovers?

had land rovers for a year or two now and never had any problems with people messing with them..... only kids letting down tyres! lil sods!

My TDi has a toad immobiliser and i thought that would be enough! Guess I will have to start locking the doors now....

Slimer:
What about ones of those things they use on caravans? Mule I think they're called. Basically a metal bar that goes through the floor and hard against the ground so you can't drive or tow it away. Lifting the vehicle is then the only way of moving it and if they're going to do that nothing will stop them short of chaining it to something anyway

Landieman:
I often wondered about leaving the Transfer box in neutral, that would deter them for a short while wouldnt it? espicialy if they dont know much about them?

Afraid so. I've had one taken and I know I'm not the only person on the forum to suffer

I'm sure I've seen a solenoid advertised somewhere that you put in your fuel line (hidden) which is activated by a separate switch... without clicking the switch the engine gets no fuel so won't start.

Wouldn't be hard to make one if I have dreamt it!!!

Anybody else heard of these, sounds like a good idea?
