Mounting Hi-lift Jack

guys either u can mount it to ur rear bulk head or the door all depends on the size of the jack ie 4ft or bigger or i think u can get those fan dangle bits that make em stan up on the back with a wheel carrier

It is a mounting device.
There should be two parts to it, the lock that Luffy has pictured and a smaller attachment that will slot into one of the holes in the foot of the jack.
The full kit looks like this:


I mounted mine on the bulkhead in the rear tub. A 5' Hi-Lift will fit across the bulkhead with no problems.  :wink:

If you can't figure it out then I'll take some photos of the foot mounting and post them for you.  :D

At the moment mines mounted across the back of the bulkhead but it's a bit awkward to get at sometimes, especially if there's a lot of kit in the back.

I'm about to start making a swing-away wheel carrier that will also take the hi-lift so it will then be mounted on the back of the truck.  Some people don't like it there as it gets dirty but I like the look of them there and plan to look after it :)

i had mine on the rear right hand side of the 90, but removed it in the end due to it catching on the spare when opening the door, now mounted on bulkhead, as luffy said, bit of a pain to get at, but may not get so rusty now.

I have seen the swing away carriers with mounting plates on, look to be a good idea, and i must admit easiest place to get hold of when needed.

i think i have seen some mounted across the back cross member, below door also, but would gather even more c**p their??
