Bulli:
Has anyone changer the heater unit including the hoses to the engine? V8 woudl be nice...any tips?? How long to do?

i am going to be undertaking the challenge of changing the heater motor in my 200tdi as soon as it arrives from paddocks. i am doing the mac4x4 in march and i dont much fancey doing it without any heat  :wink:

I know what you mean, went to Derbyshore the other day and god was it cold!  Come on someone must have dont it!!

mmhh, almost been tempted to do it. Mine sqeaks when it is on the lowest speed, although the heater does work. I bought one from ebay some months ago with the intention of changing it before winter, but found it far easier to always use number 2 as the lowest speed..... much easier than changing it.

I will watch the post with interest though ;)
