Oh Deer!!!

Went out christmas eve to visit some family in a village a few miles away, came down the hill just before home a car coming other way flashings his headlights, I had no idea what he was doing slowed down any way then there it was 1 deer leaping out in the path of the range rover.

3 year old daughter in the back shouting what have you hit,

Couldn't stop, so it went under, quickly turned round, poor animal in a mess I called the police to send a vet or approved person to put it out of its misery, 40 minutes later they turned up.

Is it still alive sir? no mate it dieds about 20 minutes ago. O.K declares the officer, assisted him to move it to the field. :(  :(  :(

Daughter didn't seem to bothered as she fell asleep until I woke her up at home,  she then declare to mummy, "daddy's killed a raindeer, Santa won't be happy" bless her. :oops:  :oops:

this year simon decided to put all the prezzies under the tree! on christmas eve,  our 8 year old came down stairs and went up to his big brother crying saying santa had not been as there was no piles of presents!!!!   bless him!  did i make simon feel guilty?  you bet i did after i had recovered from the dredded sickness bug! :lol:  :lol:  no it was not too much ale! :cry:  :cry:
