Jate Rings on a series?
hobbit:
--- Quote from: "TechnoTurkey" ---For the front you are better off using the D rings that can bolt onto the top of the bumper using the bolts that hold the bumper to the front of the chassis.
For the rear you can use the spring hangers with no problem, not sure about doing this on the front though.
--- End quote ---
You can hook round the hangers on the front but not being the swinging end the rope does have a habit of trapping in it
landroverkeith:
cool ive got a set of jate rings that i thought id never use but if they will fit on the series :) ill do it at the weekend
landyman Ash:
Ideally for a series truck you should be using D-rings
Make sure the jate rings are internally sleeved in the chassis. If they arnet, you'll put excess stress on the jate rings and the chassis. Not something you want to do with recovery!!!
