what is it with the anti TD5 brgade, i dont understand it ?  Ive just bought a T reg TD5, and nearly everyone recons the 300TDi is better, im sorry but i dont get it ? What do you all think ?  :wink:

the td5 is a good engine,just wait for the fuel pump to die,along with the injector loom seals,the fuel block & it throwing a tantrum now & again,apart from that they are good

70,000 miles in 3 years and never had any problems , chap at work has a 110 with 105,000 with no probs,
Guess every engine has it's bad uns :lol:

run td5 in disco and defender and been really happy. but they are somewhat at the mercy of the ecu.
