Nerds and Truckers

<< < (12/23) > >>

V8MoneyPit:
I am a director in my own business selling parts for classic Minis. Much of my time is spent packing parcels and pallets for shipping to Japan or the US. That's not when I'm on the phone answering the same old questions about fitting 1275cc Metro engines into 1000 cc Minis..... must be at least 3 times a week!

V8MoneyPit:

--- Quote from: "Jake" ---And truckers are used to staring through glass all day

Does that help for Friday nights down the pub too??

Frankie-Boy:
I've been driving trucks in various guises for the last 15 years and spent 15 years before that driving buses and coaches, have been pretty much all over this country and lots of bits in europe, I'd love to get off the road but at the moment it isn't possible to earn a decent living anywhere else with my qualifications, (none apart from vocational licences).
I'm expecting to be forced into other employment eventually because I'm diabetic and as soon as the DVLA hear the word "insulin", they snatch your vocational licences and your livelihood away from you, nice eh?

littlepow:
Work for Queen and country too, comms engineer.

 :P

dracula:
I'm an Assistant Technical Officer in N.H.S. Blood Bank. :(vamp):
As part of my job I drive an Emergency car.
