rocker cover gasket

<< < (2/2)

datalas:
Errr ....

Personally, I'd be worrying about how I'd "blown" the gasket, since there's not supposed to be much pressure up there..

unless it's just seeping out, in which case it's dead easy.

I feel some expense coming on  :?
What should I be looking for?
think its just been overfiled with oil which I've been told can cause pressure to build up under rocker cover
If it has then thats my fault but anything else I should look at ?

hobbit:
That could do it, but sometimes they just leak, the cork can just give up the ghost especially if its been on there for ages, refit a new one and keep an eye on it, if it pops a new one, then start to wonder
