looking into a land rover rescue tool, following the heavy demands placed on last years tow-rope...

trouble is they aint cheap! £600+  :shock:  got the mount on a bullbar, just ned summat reasonably priced that will be adequate to rrag a 110 out of a rut!  :lol:  *awaits witty replies*  :wink:

any ideas folks? seen some on e-bay, only rated at 2000lb, but very cheap!

To haul a 110 you are look at something no less than about 8500 lbs line pull, the 2000lbs winches are okay for pulling a boat onto a trailer but that's about it.

The likes of GEW, Champion, Come-up all do 9000lb winches for £350-£500. These are all good for occasional use but if you're looking at challenge events for the future then you should be look at Warn or Superwinch.  :wink:

I got a new GEW 10000 off Ebay for £320 delivered, so you can get them.  :D
