Heated Washer Jets

Far too complex and expensive
Short length of copper pipe, wrap a small bore copper tube around it, fit the big pipe in to the heater or top hose whichever gets hot first, pipe the washer jets through the small pipe.Hey presto a cheap heated washer system.
Saab fitted these to some models

Been there done that  :wink:

Once you've tried the electric versions, you wouldn't go for the heated pipe trick, especailly when you try the electric ones on a cold morning before you have warmed the engine.
