thanks mate my thoughts exactly ..some of these winch bumpers do stick out too far and tend to bury themseles on a sharp incline

Thats why i got the Scorpion one.
It does'nt stick out any further than the original bumper.
Shame about the massive fairlead spoiling this pic (not my car)
When i get round to buying a winch i'll be getting one of the sexy little Devon 4x4 alloy fairleads for Plasma rope.
So much smaller.

i,m assuming you had to modify the fixing brackets on the bumper to fit? how does that affect it under load and did you have to modify it much?
