Has anyone tried Ametech oil additive in there Discovery?

Yep I have used it on my 96 300TDI. Smoke is down, slightly quieter and oil consumption down to 1 pint every 1000 miles. And when it warms up you would hardly hear it running. Approx 2000 miles after pouring in and no ill effects so far (touch wood) 8)

Hmm, I'm gonna remain sceptical for the time being. Have any of the engine or lubrication companies done any dyno testing with this stuff?
