I've got a 43 series in my sideloader ... pushed an 18 ton crane onto a low-loader with it yesterday!

There ya go. Perkins have a very big range of engines so you may be right. Have you got a pic of the engine in the JCB.  Anybody else know what has a perkins engine in like the 4203 or similar.

Hey miniman just be careful with those halfshafts i snapped mine with the standard 2.25 diesel.

 i have a 4203 in my 109 went laning last weekend loved it big engine lump but i have an overdrive and 750 tyres it will get to about 55 without thrashing it .they run out of revs very quickly . should meet up sometime as i am only in harrogate
