Just seen these on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Land-rover-leaf-spring-lift-kit-NEW_W0QQitemZ4590242040QQcategoryZ31348QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Just wondering what they are realy for?  Is it just because people like lifted motors or do they give any improvement to handling/performance?

What about these and parabolic springs?  Would this be unstable as hell?

Cheers,

Mike

Jim-Willy:
Shackle lift and paras is fairly common on series.

spy:
What about side slopes?  It doesnt lift it too high?

stratie:
109 extended shackles with parabolic's and pro comp 3000 shocks omn me  lightweight, job's a good un

James.Harwood:
Some poor sod was ripped off there, brand new they are about £8 a corner.  Oh well, always check the new price before visiting ebay.

Haven't noticed any difference on side slopes.  On road stability - can you go fast enough for this to make any difference.

If you want the extra travel from the longer shackles and shocks always remember to remove the check strap (the funny dangly bits on stratie's picture hanging off the chassie directly above the axle).
