Looks ok. The bumper and engine must be worth that.

Is it registered as agricultural, having had a Cherry Picker on it. It could be run on Red Diesel and no Mot if it is, and you can keep it that way. :D

There are very strict rules no red diesel dont be thinking just because it agricultural you can drive on the roads with red diesel as you cant. I think farmers are only allowed to do something like a 5 mile radius of there farm...."THINK" I know if it was I would not be able to run it on the road with red in it. I dont think it has been registered as agricultural but I do know that he bought it from new. So that makes it not military.

I used to break series land rovers and sell the bits . We normally paid about £ 100 for them in that condition . The perkins engine is a bit of a beast and not very well suited for a land rover  .  the rev range is small and it is very heavy . Don't get me wrong its a grand engine ,just not in a land rover . There are now so many good small diesels about that its lost its value . good luck with getting it back on the road .

Miniman, it isn't a OneTon.  I was chatting to the OneTon expert in the Series 2 Owners Club, who has the oldest known OneTon Land Rover on the road (or was, and will be again very soon).

It doesn't appear to have extended spring hangers or shackles, so it is not a OneTon unless it has those, however, military chassis also had them too.

The bottom line is, it isn't a OneTon sadly, it's just a normal 109-inch.
