Heater problems

heater in a defender is there such a thing  :?:

try lving up here in the frozen north. standard atire in my defender is thermal underwear and one of those big fur russian hats (I kid you not)
had our first couple of hard frosts this weeks.
all I'll say is
BBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

(just in case any one asks no animals where harmed in the making of my hat - its not real fur)

Take the floor pan up and get the heat off the exhaust :lol:

Some of the older series are so draughty by the time the wind blows through the gaps its been warmed by the engine, just the smells make it interesting

Not suer how effective these are, but for the mone they might just take a little of the cold bite out of the air, that is until you move and the draught starts again!!!

everyone i know who has one of these says theyre pretty rubbish because theyre low power...

i'm planning to get a 230v mains heater, leave it in the LR overnight on an extension lead from the house on a timer so it comes on about 30 mins before i go out....
