Gear Box Fault Or Is It ?

Northmead:
Hi All,

I have just had my Gearbox Throw a Wobbly.
The Grub screw holding the gear shift lever to the Gear selector parted company, The gear stick waving around like a flag so i was stuck in 3rd gear all day.

Having put the whole thing back together i have now sealed the grub screw with Loctite.

as anyone had this problem or was i just unlucky.

I think I've heard of this on here before, can't remember if it was on a Discovery or not, and can't find the topic.

I don't think it's a common fault though.

You haven't annoyed it have you?
