Doughnut on 300 rear prop shaft
(1/1)
Jake:
Whats the score with the rubber doughnut on the rear prop on a 300 disco?
Is it essential?
Mines looking a bit ropey, should i replace it?
Can i get rid of it?
Do i need to change the rear prop if i get rid of it or does the prop just bolt together with out it?
Advice please.
:D
PUX:
yeah u have to replace it there about 20 quid so not bad but u could get a 200tdi prop and output flange to make life easier
beast5680:
said that would need doin didnt it , didnt i say that when i was under it didnt i hmmm
gords:
I replaced mine recently and the difference was very noticeable :)
speedfreak:
As you have got lifted suspension, I would suggest you get a 200tdi prop and output flange. The lift puts more strain on the doughnut and cause all sorts of vibrations...
