heater

(1/1)

davidlandy:
found the source of the water leak into my motor

the little squeezytit on the bottom of the heater intake pipe was full of crap causing the water to go into the heater

got a pipe into the heater a syphoned off a tub full of water, must had been a litre or so in there!

rectifed the blocked squeezytit and now no more windcreen steaming up and wet footwells !

Ollie:
Where's that Dave, worth checking mine me thinks.
I've always got wet footwells, but am learning to live with it.
I've got used to the dripping now, quite comforting :D

Xtremeteam:
standing on the pas side put ur hand down behind the plastic ducting that goes from the intake hole to the heater unit itself,if you grope under there the squeezy tit is under there,

davidlandy:
Ollie

if you remove the heater grill intake from the nearside wing top you can put your hand in there and feel for the hole in the bottom

if its blocked there will be water sitting in there

well worth looking at, or remove the tit all together

Ollie:
What your saying is that I've got to strip off the outer cover and grope around for Laila's tit.
Haven't done that for a while 8)
