No, the guy has a proper sign-written van with all the equipment in and whats more he knows how to use it properly and bearing in mind the motor hasn't had a <proper> clean since I bought it over 3 years ago, I thought the price was very good.

Although I don't live on starvation NHS wages like you do, I live in a very modest bungalow and not a whacking great mansion like yours.  :wink:

Ah but he only took 4 hours to do it.....

He's self employed and will have grafted.
Whereas elsewhere you'd have been charged for 8 hours even though it only took 4.
He'd have been off to the next job straight away and cracked on.

I'd sooner pay for 4 hours of someone that knows what they are doing and there is actually an art to proper valeting than 8 hours of your bucket and shammy brigade.

Oh by the way to do a proper valeting job there's some quite expensive products used to get the process down to 4 hours.

Me! I'd never have the patience for it.
