How many times have we heard Jim Willy say " I HAVE NEVER BEEN STUCK" Sorry jim told you I would get it on here and its got a top spot.

i got stuck today & had the water ABOVE the cubby box with the cd player & multichanger & digi cam in the cuby box

I feel sorry for the cd player. Pull it to bits and dry it out then clean the laser you may be lucky...Let it dry for at least a week tho. I have saved computers and monitors this way...FLOOD damage.

This is if it was not on in the process.

Oh & taking other daughter to kickboxing gradeing, &the droping swmbo @ bingo, soon be time to pick her up - maybe she's had a big win & i can spend some on my truck :lol:

What ya think then BTM he finaly got stuck.... Came up a hill and did not keep to the left and it slipped sidways down a gully...GUTTED

He laughing about it now....Had a beer with him and NEW member we got joined H at the local before we went home. He be on soon....Give him stick.....LOL

Looks like you got the better deal I've spent half the wekend re-wiring the CrewCab an' freezing mi' rocks off :shock: ... still ain't made a dent on what I want to get done either, think I should have put it off again and come out with you lot

In the end i couldn't afford the tyres, will buy some next year. it was a good day, i was very very lucky to get away with just a dinged wing.

must get around to welding some new towing points on the front, and replacng the tow bar I bent double last time at Whitworth. Bound to find somthing that'll stop her sooner or later

No - it wan't the shouldn't have driven in that got you - it was the not being able to drive out bit that caused the problem :P

I'm cautiously optimistic about the CD btw, it's drying out now having been really cleaned with Ultrasolve (I got the mini-disk and CD's out of it and stripped all the delicate bits off first)

The camera is not looking quite so hopefull - water has got onto the CCD and it's proving difficult to get into it to clean, but I've not giving up yet. It's become the office project for the day :)

That wasn't deep, if I hadn't got to keep the land rover atleast mostly dry I'd have shown you proper deep water :D At Frickley I had the bow wave coming off the Windscreen not the Bonnet !!!

Hope it was ok for the first attempt. I need to make some more modifications be for I realy go for it....Waders would be the first thing and some new door seals. It comes in very quick.

Door seals was my first response, but since then I've watched a few DVDs and learnt, you don't want Door Seals for Wading. If you watch a Toyata go wading, it will float, which if there is a side current means it goes over, if there isn't it means no traction. Accept that your going to get your feet wet, and go for it, you've got a snorkel!! :D
