--- Quote from: "s.stirley" ---I have 215/85R16 with no lift - no problems, no mods required and performance is excellent. If you wanna go wider you can fit 245/75R16 but that will reduce your lock quite a bit and most likely need the rear arches cutting slightly at the rear.

Morning, Simon, I'd like to put 215/85s on my car but I'm concerned that they'll foul to bodywork because I have aftermarket steel wheels fitted which are slightly more offset than standard. I notice you haven't had any problems with your setup, can you tell me what sort of wheels and tyres you have?
Many thanks,
Phil.

Thanks Guys
I was thinking of 235/85/16's ,but I'm still a bit confused if they will fit or not without modding the arches :?
'Gords' says they will fit with a 1" lift. Is that definately correct :?:

Well, all I can say is I've got a 1" lift, I've got 235/85x16 tyres and I've done the "camel" cut on my rear arches (nothing else). The only place the tyres touch is the brackets that the mud flaps mount to, but that's probably because I haven't put my extended bump stops on yet.
Have a look in my gallery for some pictures.

Im the same as gords, 235.85.16 MTs. I had to cut the rear arch but not as much as a camel cut. I also need bump stops as I hit the mud guard flaps.
