You are right thermidorthelobster...a good set of spring compressors is definately needed to fit +2" springs.
I did mine last year, took the shocks and anti-roll bars off, the axle was hanging by it's radius arms and the springs still wouldnt go on without being compressed....and those scorpion springs are 'very' hard to compress...Phew.. :?
You will also need 2 or 3 good jacks, and some packing blocks...
But it was worth it though...18 months on and the springs are still doing a good +2" job...My mate had some blue bearmach springs on his Disco and sfter a month it looked like a dragster!!! Front back down to normal height down and arse still up +2"...
