Airing Down
drum:
I've got 35" Procomp X-Terrains on the 110, and last time I was out I found a distinct lack of grip, on some muddy sloppes, so I'm contemplating airing down tomorrow when I go and play at Whitworth. So I've gone as far as buying a tyre guage but, what should I air them down to??
I was thinking 20 psi, does that sound about right?
muddyweb:
If you are running them tubeless, and / or don't have beadlocks, then I wouldn't go much below 20psi
See how it goes.
Xtremeteam:
i agree with tim, regularly air my sats down to 12psi (or less) as i have tubes in them
isle of man:
air down if you want but procomp x-terrains don't do mud very well .....i have had this tyre on one of my wranglers......

No tubes or beadlocks at the moment. I'll try a minimum 20psi then unless it looks really squichy at that.
