I was driving to work one morning down a narrow lane. It was 5 in the morning. It was dark. I was giving it some wellie since you would see the lights from another car and be able to slow down in time.

Went round a corner and nearly took out a police car. It was parked in the MIDDLE of the road, no lights on at all, and it had a policeman and a police woman doing acts of adult nature.

I managed to get out of a lot of scrapes for the next 2-3 years

--- Quote from: "s.stirley" ---I had one following me really close behind the other day, doing about 50 in moderate traffic on a single carriageway road. Unfortunately I was in the wifes car with the kids in, if I'd been in the Disco on my own I'd have been very tempted to stand on the brakes I think.

The overall standard of Police driving certainly seems to have dropped in the Cambridgeshire area.

wait till they start getting the people from Oakington as the new cheap police force ...... on another note there are only three traffic cars covering cambridgeshire at any one given time its no wonder there are an awful lot of non insured vehicles and non legal drivers on the roads round here nevermind thefts of landrovers and other 4x4s
