headlining help
v8kenny:
Thanks Dave
As far as I am aware the 4 door lining for electric sunroof is one piece but I will try MM in case their's is different - and cheaper - than Nationwide Trim

our rangie has a fibreglass headlining from nationwide trim, £135 +VAT in 2000. according to the receipt.
looks good, cant say anymore as it was fitted when we got it.

Hi
I have fitted a headlining in one of mine (which has a sunroof). It was admittedly a second hand one from a Range and not an aftermarket one.
Took about 30 minutes and was dead easy. The only bit that took any time was the rear view mirror as the screws refused to play nicely.
Cheers
DaveS:
If you have to make holes in the new one, don't drill staright thru, it can tear the naterial and foam (guess how I know!) Poke a bradawl through first then carefully drill the glass fibre base!
Mine originally had a one peice but the 2nd hand one was a two peice.
I had to drill holes for the push fit clips in the stiffener bar on the roof. I got the fasteners in Halfords. I don't have a sunroof.

Hi Dave (and others)
Thanks for tip re drilling holes - at £246 inc postage & vat I don't want to ruin it !
Hope to fit this coming weekend although we are supposed to get snow this weekend so might have to go and play instead !
Thanks again guys and I'll let you know how I get on
Kenny
